Venmo Socials

We set out to refresh Venmo’s social presence with elevated creative that centers the brand at the heart of trends and financial culture, building genuine relatability and trust with the audience.

With support from the strategy and data science teams, the team developed content inspired by relevant trends and authentic ways-in for the brand to connect with their Zillennial audience. We established a range of content types from paid product promotion and giveaways, to relatable brand “venmo-isms” and internet meme posts, and gamified interactive posts.

We also developed interactive posts and stories that engage with their followers in fun ways, enabling social listening to better understand what matters most to them while also providing them with helpful financial tips.

As a designer on a small creative team, my role was to concept, design, illustrate, and coordinate small photo productions on a monthly cadence.
